2024 OBC Part 3 Changes Presentation
Following the recent release of the 2024 Ontario Building Code, MGA has undertaken a review of the fire and life safety related changes in comparison to the current version of the 2012 Ontario Building Code (as amended to O.Reg 158/24). The sheer breadth and volume of implemented changes, of which some are captured in the 800 page Ontario-specific amendments package and others are native to the current 2020 National Building Code of Canada, provides a challenge with cataloguing all changes.
In order to better equip our clients and industry professionals, MGA has launched a presentation series providing insight on changes of interest to Parts 3 and 9 of the 2024 OBC. This initial presentation is based on a high-level assessment of the changes to shortlist ‘big-ticket’ fire and life safety impacts to future project design. You can find our presentation below.
If you believe that your company could benefit from further explanation of the recent Code changes, please contact us to coordinate the administration of the presentation to your team.
