BUILDING CODE COMMISSION
The Building Code Commission (BCC) acts as a judicial body, as authorized under the Building Code Act, whose purpose is to resolve project specific disputes regarding sufficiency of compliance with the requirements of the Ontario Building Code. In effect, the BCC is a mechanism in Ontario through which to appeal decisions by the Authority Having Jurisdiction pertaining to interpretation of the technical requirements in the Building Code.
MGA will review the position under dispute, prepare and coordinate the BCC Application documentation, including supporting technical documentation, and provide client representation at the Building Code Commission hearing.
