BARRIER-FREE ACCESSIBILITY REVIEW
The Building Code outlines the minimum mandatory level of built environment design requirements related to barrier-free accessibility throughout a building, with the intent to capture the principles of dignity, flexibility, accommodation, functionality, and integration. In recent years, the Building Code requirements for barrier-free design have become more robust and detailed.
MGA will review designs and layouts for compliance with the built environment accessibility requirements in the Building Code, taking into consideration Human Rights and equivalent access perspectives. MGA will also produce a report summarizing any noted deficiencies and potential cost-effective solutions.
